By Saraa Kami, NU Director of Communications

91×ÔÅÄ would like to congratulate the NU Bataan competition team on their recent win at this year’s Bataan Memorial Death March Marathon. NU sent two teams to compete in the full marathon (26.2 miles), which took place on March 19, 2023, at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.

91×ÔÅÄ's Team A took first place in the ROTC division, and came in 2nd place overall for all teams competing in the heavy divisions. Both units competed in the Team, Heavy and ROTC categories, which included finishing the course donning a 35# military ruck, boots and ACU's. The five-person team had to stay together for the entire route and cross the finish line within 20 seconds of each other.
