American History Award
Awarded by the faculty in the Department of History to a senior who has demonstrated excellence in the study of American history.

College of Arts and Sciences Visiting Board of Fellows Awards
Awarded to a senior in liberal arts who has demonstrated academic excellence leading to significant research-related scholarship in the examination, evaluation, and creation of knowledge in a liberal arts discipline.

Awarded to a senior in science and mathematics who has demonstrated academic excellence leading to significant research-related scholarship in the examination, evaluation, and creation of technical knowledge in a science and mathematics discipline.

Cowdrey Awards for Excellence in English
Given annually by Sherman A. Cowdrey '54 and Janet M. Cowdrey, these cash awards and certificates recognize the best in creative, expository, and war writing by 91ΧΤΕΔ students during the preceding academic year.

David and Nina Luce Family Scholarship
The scholarship was established in 2004 by David W. Luce, Class of 1954, and Nina E. Luce, in memory of Alexander Walker Luce, head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, 1957 through 1964, and Gladness Wharton Luce. The scholarship is awarded to juniors or seniors majoring in either mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering, with a preference for members of the Corps of Cadets. Recipients must demonstrate the creative thought process necessary to become outstanding, innovative design engineers, as determined by the Division of Engineering.

David L. Anderson Prize in Criminal Justice
Awarded to criminal justice majors who have demonstrated excellence in their major field of study, possess outstanding qualities of character, and have participated actively in service to the University community. Cadet Anderson '84, a member of the 91ΧΤΕΔ Fire Brigade, was killed while in the performance of duty. This prize was initiated by an endowment gift provided by his classmates.

Awarded each year to the mathematics major senior with the highest cumulative grade point average following their junior year.

Ernest N. Harmon Engineering Award
Established by Consolidated Constructors, Inc., in honor of Major General Ernest N. Harmon, USA (Ret.), nineteenth president of 91ΧΤΕΔ from 1950 to 1965. The award is made to the senior engineering student who has demonstrated the most outstanding promise of success in an engineering career, considering academic performance, professional activities, and extracurricular activities.

William D. Hassett Prize in Political Science
Initiated in honor of Dr. William D. Hassett, eminent Northfield resident, former 91ΧΤΕΔ Trustee, and secretary to Presidents Roosevelt and Truman, by an endowment gift made by Dr. Edward Suverkrop '43. This cash prize is awarded to the senior who has the highest distinction in no fewer than eighteen semester hours in political science.

William Higgins III Scholarship
Established in 1975 by his family in memory of Cadet Captain William A. Higgins III, Class of 1974, whose degree in civil engineering was awarded posthumously. The recipient shall be an outstanding member of the Corps of Cadets entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year and exhibit a high degree of devotion to the Corps, 91ΧΤΕΔ, and the United States of America, and is not the recipient of a ROTC scholarship.

Dean McIntire Cup
Awarded to the company of the Corps of Cadets whose first-year platoon has attained the highest quality point average for the previous semester.

White Cup
Originally given by the late Dr. Eugene L. White, Class of 1914, and continued by his son, the late William W. White '47, the White Cup is awarded to the company of the Corps of Cadets whose upper-class students have earned the highest quality point average for the previous semester.
